Guasha is an ancient technique of facial and body massage., which has been used in the East for many years. Guasha is especially relevant now, as more and more people lead sedentary lifestyles, which affects posture and muscle corset.
Specialized scrapers play a very important role in the process. During the course, the teacher will tell you which part of the scraper is intended for which area of the face and neck and how to use it correctly (tilt angle, pressure, movement). The massage is easy to perform and can be done even at home.
The eastern roots of the technique lead us to work with meridians, which will allow slow stroking with pressure to stimulate blood flow.
Depending on the desired result, practitioners often treat painful areas or perform gua sha along meridional lines.
