A series of lectures on Ayurveda

Ayurve?to (from Skt.. «?yus" - "meaning of life", "principle of life", or “long life” and “veda” - knowledge) - traditional Indian medicine system, one of the types of alternative medicine. Ayurveda is considered a complementary Veda (upaveda) "Atharva Veda" and is based on the Hindu Samkhya philosophical system. "Ayurveda" can be translated as "knowledge of life", "knowledge of long life" or even "science of life".

28 August (Thurs) 18:00-20:00 – Lecture and presentation on Abhyanga massage.
To Abhyan (Abhyanga, Ayurvedic massage) – Ayurvedic oil massage, – it is an important part of the daily routine, recommended by Ayurveda for achieving overall health and well-being. In addition, it is used in Panchakarma.
• Improves blood circulation, especially near nerve endings;
• Increases muscle tone and the whole body;
• Calms;
• Improves joint lubrication;
• Speeds up the mind's reaction time, intelligence;
• Improves the removal of waste products from the body;
• Softens the skin, makes it smoother;
• Increases stamina and performance throughout the day;
• Improves sleep, makes it deeper.

6 September (Sat) 12:00-15:00 – Ahara. Dinacharya.
Ahara – diet. Ayurvedic tradition includes knowledge about, what food is suitable for a particular person to maintain the balance of the doshas, how to cook food properly, what food combinations should you avoid, what eating habits you need to develop and which ones you want to get rid of.
Dinacharya - daily routine. To maintain the three doshas in a state of healthy balance and the proper functioning of digestion and metabolism, Ayurveda prescribes a certain daily routine for each individual.

11 September (Thurs) 18:00-20:00 – Panchakarma.
Panchakarma is the oldest program for cleansing and rejuvenating the body., and also to cleanse consciousness and mind. Panchakarma has a beneficial effect on overall health, self-esteem, self-healing, eliminating stress.
In today's tense, In a stressful and toxic world, toxins and stress accumulate in the physical and mental spheres of a person, which leads to a deterioration in their functioning. Ultimately, this weakens these systems - that is, deprives them of health, what leads to diseases.
Panchakarma helps reverse these negative effects of daily life. It restores a natural state of health and well-being, cleanses the body of toxins, and the nervous system from stress
Panchakarma - therapeutic procedures, and quite easy to use, but extremely effective. Therefore, Panchakarma is a unique natural, holistic, a useful set of therapeutic and health procedures.

Classes are conducted by Ayurvedic Medicine Doctor Das Jayanta Kumar with more than 10 years of experience in Ayurvedic practice. In his work he uses unique experience, received from many generations of one's ancestors, as well as brilliant knowledge of modern medicine.
