Leader of the project for the development of professional skills competitions for people with disabilities “Abilimpix” in the Russian Federation) and Karplyuk Anna Viktorovna (Head of the Resource Educational and Methodological Center for training the disabled and persons with disabilities, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, docent).

Is it difficult to find a good job??
At least, not easy. Great competition. High requirements for applicants. Interviews, resume, internships. Huge stress. Not every healthy person can cope with these tests. Now imagine, dear subscribers, if the applicant, for example, doesn't see anything. Or doesn't hear. Or uses a wheelchair. Presented? All obstacles increase exponentially. We know, what are we talking about. International Center for Training and Development of Massage Therapists (CPRM) has been promoting for several years now, training, employment of talented massage therapists with disabilities. We have significant experience in this area.

Visually impaired and deaf students study in inclusive groups at the Center. On 2015 of the year, the CPRM supervises the “massage therapist” competency in the professional skills championships for the disabled “Abilimpix”. The CPRM Championships have a “Good Hands” nomination for such specialists.

We know talented guys. We know the difficulties, which they encounter during employment. We sincerely want to help. Therefore, the leaders of the CPRM participate in all events, related to employment issues for people with disabilities. Develop teaching materials. They offer options for legislative initiatives to promote the employment of people with disabilities.

General Director Olga Vyacheslavovna Amcheslavskaya and head of social and corporate projects Larisa Alekseevna Chinareva participated in a round table meeting at the Russian State Social University “Modern technologies for employment and promoting the employment of people with disabilities”. The most pressing and pressing issues were discussed at the meeting.

Employees and students of the Russian State Social University took a tour of the resource center. Here is a unique collection of modern technical equipment., who help disabled students study at the University on an equal basis with other students. Printer, printing texts in Braille. Scanner, converts any printed text into voice. Special keyboards, mice and controllers, for students with cerebral palsy. Specially designed microphones, amplifiers for the hearing impaired. Any student, in need of technical support, can use such equipment. RGSU even has a booth for guide dogs, with whom visually impaired students come to classes. In a word, accessible environment in action!

Each of the round table participants (and these are the leaders of all-Russian organizations of disabled people, and representatives of relevant Ministries, educational organizations, business community) shared their thoughts, how to improve your employment situation, gave examples of effective partnerships for employment purposes, arrangement of an accessible environment for small and medium-sized enterprises, employer support, ready to hire disabled people. In live communication, we were able to outline many new ways to overcome employment problems for such specialists. Уверены, that together we can change the situation for the better. After all, disability is a condition, which can wait for any of us. And it would be fair to give every person a chance to find a job according to their calling.
